MOBILE  E- GOVERNANCE       

          The Government of Kerala have accorded sanction to the

Kerala             State IT Mission  to implement Mobile e- Governence

in the Department of State Lotteries    vide GO

(Rt)No.  38/2011/ITD dated 25.2.2011.  The Hon’ble Chief Minister

has  formally inaugurated the Mobile e- Governance projects for

various departments. Accordingly the same for Lotteries

Department has    been entrusted with M/s Mobme Wireless   

Solutions by the Kerala State IT Mission. As envisaged, the project

has the potential to help make public information and governance

services available “any time, anywhere” to citizens and  officials. 

         The Kerala State IT Mission has set up necessary     

infrastructure        for         the implementation of the project.

Accordingly a Revenue Model M- Governance     project has been

implemented in this department as a pilot project. An individual

user can access lottery results by sending details of draw number,

series and lottery ticket     number    by SMS to number  537252. 

SMS format: ---type Lottery (space) draw number (space)  series

(space) 6 digit number 

        Rs. 2/- shall be payable by the subscribers of BSNL and Rs 3/-  

by  the  subscribers  of other network service providers for each

SMS     under the         scheme. 

         As per the facility provided by the IT Mission, the department

is also  making   use of  quick SMS and Group SMS to convey

short    messages,    short    advertisements,   publicity matters etc

to both saved and unsaved mobile numbers.
